The TOKE to AUTO Migration has arrived. 

The TOKE to AUTO migration begins today, on February 3rd, 2026. There is no time limit to migrate TOKE to AUTO. In addition to finalizing the transition of Tokemak to Auto Finance, this token migration brings the token up to modern standards, enabling a streamlined, simplified experience for protocol stakers, and a single place to earn all of the revenue-based buybacks. Based on the new sAUTO pool and AUTO buyback program, AUTO holders who stake into sAUTO should realize an attractive yield.

Below you’ll find all the information regarding the migration, sAUTO (+ rewards), token liquidity, and LP updates. The ONLY place to migrate TOKE to AUTO is through our official frontend on auto.finance - be very careful to make sure you’re in the right place. Migration:

There are two options for migration, with an easy and intuitive UX:

• Users can migrate from TOKE in their wallet to AUTO 1:1
• sTOKE (accTOKE) can migrate immediately into sAUTO 1:1

Follow the instructions presented in the modals to execute the migration transaction. For unstaked TOKE, you'll have to enable spending in the first transaction, then the migration transaction will occur.

sAUTO (staked AUTO):

• The new system for staking AUTO introducing a single 16-week lock for AUTO
• It has the same withdrawal mechanics as sTOKE/accTOKE
  
  • For unlocking, 1 week before unlock, users need to request a withdrawal
  • Auto-relocking

  • We’ve done away with ‘voting to specific Autopools’ - the sAUTO is now streamlined into one singular bucket.

What rewards do I earn by staking AUTO tokens?

sAUTO (staked AUTO) holders earn AUTO token rewards from protocol revenue:

• Protocol-owned assets (POA): Additional rewards (100%, up from 70%) from the deployment of and yield from Auto Finance's treasury assets

• Protocol fees from TVL will be sequentially turned on in the future (more announcements forthcoming)

Revenue from these sources is used to buy back AUTO tokens on the open market, which are then distributed proportionally to stakers based on their staked balance.

How do I unstake and withdraw my sAUTO tokens?

To unstake and withdraw your sAUTO tokens, you must initiate the unstaking process during the final week before your staking period expires. Once your staking duration completes, you can withdraw your AUTO at any time without penalties or cooldown periods.

Important: When you initiate unstaking, you will still earn your full share of AUTO rewards for the final week based on the most recent snapshot. After unstaking, you can restake your AUTO for a new duration if desired.

When are AUTO staking snapshots taken and how do they affect rewards?

AUTO staking snapshots are automatically taken every week on Tuesday 20:35:47 GMT+0000. Each snapshot captures your staked AUTO balance to determine your reward distribution for the upcoming week.

Rewards operate on a backward-looking basis: your staking position and allocations at the time of the Tuesday snapshot determine the rewards you'll earn throughout the following 7-day period. To maximize rewards, ensure your AUTO is staked before the weekly snapshot time.

LP (AUTO Liquidity):

The initial liquidity for AUTO will be a Uni V4 full-range pool. The entire LP migration process can be accomplished through a series of transactions within our UI.

How can I earn AUTO incentives with the ETH/AUTO LP?

Earn AUTO incentives by holding a full-range ETH/AUTO liquidity position on Uniswap V4. No staking required. Rewards typically appear within 2-8 hours, and a claim button will show when you have rewards available.

TOKE/AUTO Staking Rewards:

• TOKE boost on Autopools will stay TOKE for a period of time until a sufficient amount of liquidity is migrated, then become AUTO rewards
• sTOKE rewards will remain for a couple weeks
• sAUTO rewards will start immediately but will not be displayed, a “pending” message shown in the UI

LP Rewards:

• Sushi LP rewards continuing for next 2 weeks
• AUTO LP rewards starting day 1

Do not interact with contracts shared via DMs, unofficial websites, or social media comments. Our team will never ask you to send tokens directly to a wallet.
